Thanks for those who have left a comment on the new site, and to those who have tried to. Of the latter, are you getting the 'prove you are human' in the registration process or the login process? Either way I will take a look but perhaps registering twice in error is driving some bug. Most of you already registered - here is a list of those who should simply be able to login. If you need your password again, just go through the forgotten password process please.

The above are listed as Active members, for which I can find no definition, but suspect it apples to those who have made at least one post.

Here are the registered members marked Inactive, and I assume the opposite applies here. If your experience either way tell you different, please let me know.

I think most of you are registered. If not, just click the tab at the top to register. Early next month is the renewal time for this site, and unless the majority of you decide you'd rather stay on this site, then I don't intend to renew. I paid up front for a year all costs for the new site (we can sort that out once it's bedded in) so want to be done and dusted on this one in plenty of time. Aside from that, there is much more scope in the new site - we will have a blog for any founder member who wants to use it, and I want to give the syndicate its own section with a facility for playing videos on the site, among other things. I also intend to put my NH big race analysis on there - and anyone else's if you care to do one.

There will be other things in time. The forum software in there is a free plugin at the moment but add ons can be bought to fancy it up if needs be.

Few people like change and I have tried other configurations of the forum on Talkinghorses.pro, but I think we have the best of them in operation. Hopefully we will all be used to it in a week or so. After the first two weeks, let me know in the comments if you feel the site is not for you.

In the meantime, I'll leave this site open for anyone who forgets and posts a nap here. And that will also offer us cover should there be teething problems at Horsetalk.
