In my youth I can remember some horses coming back from a race with bleeding or marked from being whipped. We've come a long way forward and I don't see anything like that these days. Maybe I'm just past it but I think there has been an over accommodation to snowflake verbose ill-informed wokes that is now working to the detriment of the sport. As for those poor short lived sheep that are harassed and mentally traumatised by dogs before being killed and eaten.......

Indeed. "We've come a long way forward", you say. In that case the rest of your comments are essentially a contradiction, as it is the "snowflake" changes that have brought about the improvements. You can't have it both ways.

I didn't think it would be long and sure enough ,following on from the whip articles on TH ,up pops one from Australia with a cruelty theme.

I wonder who it is whose mission it is to try to run racing down at every opportunity at the G.

Why part time Greg felt the need to crib and copy the whip story from the RP says it all.

The blokes not got an original thought in his head about the game and would be better served getting off his backside and tour the yards to find out what the situation is regarding the chronic staff shortages ,poor recruitment etc.

It might improve his tipping as well,much better than relying on Timeform .
