Well done Luke, Savoieblue, Robicheaux , Alan, and JD with Monday winners. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
Kirstins dog ,aptly named Nut oversees operations and does his best to increase the canine population of the valley at every opportunity. His brothers called
The photo and video are from the stud in Somerset where Ade has sourced some of our horses. Kirstin bred Uggy and Oi Oi Oi and is looking after our next crop of horses with Judy. I was there on Thursday. I only go for Judy's Lemon Drizzle cake😆
Mallow 3.40: Get - another truly inspired Coolmore name. She is one of the last few to run from Galileo's final crop (?), so surely she deserves something better than this. As we used to say at school, "Who are you calling Get?"
“Morning folks. I’ve eaten up and I’m fine this morning. Ade’s happy with how I have come out of the race. Thanks for your all your support yesterday and I hope you had some of your hard-earned on. It was good to have some decent ground to go on for once and Brad rode me up with the pace as I’m happier being competitive. I’ll go further as I wasn’t stopping at the end, was I?”
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see any live racing yesterday so I've just been watching a replay of Uggy's win at Warwick. Congratulations to all involved with the horse. He's a smasher and I love his attitude. Well done all, it must be very satisfying to watch his development.
Some nice winners yesterday to put pressure on September's current leaders. My attempt to add to that pressure today is Bold Territories in the 20.30 at Newcastle. Looks as though the value has already gone but in Hollie we trust!
I started this month okay but have ran dry when it matters at business end. Hopefull Damascus Steel can get things back on track today. Nottingham 16.25
Couple of quick returners, or try agains, today. I like Marine Wave at Beverley but its very short considering some good opposition eg Korker so I'll try
Nap Notts 1625 Damascus Steel
who tracked wide all the way at Ponte tother day and just didn't have enough left to finish off. A bit shorter could solve that, but up in class and taking on Jake's pick!
Pinafore wins at 7/2
Here's Meg getting one of our youngsters off the ground for the first time ,just like she did with Uggy whose quick jumping is all due to her.
NAP Into The Groove 3.40 Mallow.
Do I ever have a winning nap?
What, never?
No, never!
What, never?
Well, hardly ever!
Pinafore in the 15:50 at Nottingham
Western beat. Beverley 2.15.
Equion 5.35N nap
Power under me 4.15C.
I am doing a SF of Get Into The Groove in the 15.40 at Mallow
My nap is in the 16.15. Dame Kiwi. e.w. who is trading at 33/1.
Not often you see the sole Ballydoyle Horse in a Race at that price.
