Well done EGS, David, and Highflying on Monday winners. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
I missed that Uggy was running yesterday and am glad to hear he is home safe. A 10lbs rise was tough, but his jumping was much poorer than at Warwick, and he was back to his keen self, not really settling until they passed the post first time. FWIW, I'd let him crack on when he is that keen. He was in the first two throughout at Warwick, where he settled perfectly well in second, which makes me wonder if he is simply happier with a long sight of his hurdles. Dilton's initial opinion that he'd be better on good ground is looking sound now, though he seems to handle whatever's thrown at him with the same courage. A bonny horse who'll always be one of my favourites.

Elliot wins at 16/5 and gets me off the bloody freezing list!
Goshhowposh wins at 11/4 & gets me off the cold list.
Alan King looks to have a very decent one in Favour And Fortune. It was only a Hereford maiden, but the acceleration from 2 out was most impressive.
I will be taking Uggys plates off tomorrow morning before he goes home , if anyone wants one as a keepsake let me know .
Nap: Elliott, 7:30 Wolv.
I said it in E.T.'s voice.....
A stroll in the park for Stroll On By as he wins at 3/1.
NAP Starlight Glance 4.40 Hereford.
Joe, my last 4 "NAPS" were 3 x PU and stone last. This must be some kind of record and deserving of some kind of prize.
Just watched Uggy's race gain, and it seems clear that Frost on Arqoob is angling in on Uggy more than once. The horse moves left but she never moves her whip to the left hand. I'm not entirely neutral, but I'd certainly say there is a case for Carelees riding (at best).
My only tracker was a 4/7 shot at a now abandoned meeting. I only have a Comprehensive School education and an "O" Level in English Language, but I always thought abandon meant to start something and then stop. When a race meeting doesn't even start I would have thought canceled would have been the correct term. (US English has one "l" in canceled, writing cancelled sent my laptop into a meltdown)
Stroll On By in the 14:30 at Exeter.
I was looking at two - one alreay taken so its Young Wolf today who is due another win. Hereford 15.10

Not sure about this nap after Peebles's comment
Re the race riding comments. I can see your points of view ,but - - -
Holding someone in is fair play ,i would have no complaint about that at all. Tony and I are on at Brad constantly about not being bullied and we have Mick Fitzgerald talking to him everyday pre ride.
He's leading the conditional table for a good reason, the lad can ride.
However left elbow out and boring in taking a horses line is not on. Nor is shouting and screaming like a wailing banshee coming down the hill to try to force a kid off his line.
Luckily for a conditional Brad has been well taught how to handle that and kept Uggy up when he was sandwiched.
It was that manoeuvre that riled me and Brad as it was so blatant.
Brad's agent Popham who rode and was nobody's angel or fool was on the phone straight away and you are all ignoring the key fact in this.
The first thing Frost did was report her horse hung left which effectively got her off the hook though my thoughts on the stewards were made clear. She made no attempt to change her whip and continued to veer left to the line. She always does it .
Saying this race was lost at Warwick has some merit ,but in reality I lost this race by going here over a sharp 2 miles certain of getting a run and a crack at 10k against 8 rivals.
Rather than risking not getting in at Cheltenham on Friday or if I did get in ,trying for the same money against 23 runners on softer ground, giving the horse a harder task.
Hindsight is a marvellous thing but if I could put the clock back I would make the same decision .
What you get if you combine me with my team's ground: Gentleman Valley - 16.00 Exeter.
Noble Savage 4.40 Hereford is the nap, well done yesterdays winners.
Its that time of year where the tracker is loaded with first time outs. Yesterday I was delighted to hear just before the off that the trainer thought Lord B would need the run. So it proved but the comment didn't stop the money continuing to go on. As a bookie you'd love it.
