It is not devoid of evidence. BF reported that the horse was hanging left - yet she made no effort to correct that. The very opposite was the case, as she was pulling her left rein down and using the stick in her right hand, so there was only one way her horse could go, and that was in onto Bradley. She got her excuse in first and the officiasls bought it. I believe she gets kid glove treatment from the stewards because of her history and because she's a bit of a firebrand - and her dad knows how to put the boot in too.

There's no point speculating what Bradley would have done had the roles been reversed. That's purely hypothetical.

It is time you left behind all the political baggage surroundiong Bryony Frost and accept she is not the saint she was once regarded. She has fewer riding opportunities now and is over anxious to make her mark as a result. Bossing younger jockeys should not be part of a good jockey's toolkit. How quickly has she forgotten all the help and support she received when she first started in this game!

The reason I commented on Joe's post was that he took as fact an assertion of Dilton's about Bryony Frost in relation to Bradley Harris. It was not a fact, it was Dilton's speculative opinion.

I note that you do not address my key point (to Joe)

Dilton said, alleging that BF tried to put BH off, "Nor is shouting and screaming like a wailing banshee coming down the hill to try to force a kid off his line."

(I note that Dilton's attitude to Bryony Frost is negative. I won't rehearse the history, it's all there on the record. Dilton refers to Bryony Frost as "Frost".)

Has it occurred to you that Bryony Frost had good reason to call out to Bradley Harris? I can think of several possible reasons, but I won't assert that any of them is a fact.

The evidence you cite is a single piece of evidence from race footage on which you have drawn conclusions. In respect of that, you do not know why Bryony Frost took the actions she did to control the horse. Given that she effectively spent her childhood on a horse and knows a bit about them, I think before jumping to a conclusion from a piece of race footage, you should (have the good grace to) recognise that your judgement is, essentially, deficient.

A more fair minded view is that Bryony Frost told the stewards at the first opportunity as is required by the Rules and this was accepted. Yet you ascribe a malign motive to her report. You may believe that "kid glove treatment" is afforded by the stewards, but it is, as you say, just a belief. Another view might be that Bryony Frost can't be pushed around and treated unfairly. She stands up for her rights.

I don't claim to have all the facts, there would need to be a proper investigation and interview of all parties to establish them. That has not happened and will not happen. You do not have all the facts.

I have never regarded Bryony Frost as a saint. I do not know her, so how could I? But I know the facts which are in the public domain. I don't call her "Frost".

Having made this up, you then accuse Bryony Frost of being ungrateful for the help and support she received when she started out. Disregarding the fact that she encountered appalling sexism and abuse from the weighing room (proven as a fact) and alleging that she is ungrateful for the help that she received (for which you have zero evidence), you nonetheless go out of your way to add your small piece of mean negativity to the pile which this young woman faces on a daily basis.

I lived in Greenwich for many years and only my son and his friends shouted on Charlton.

The away Fans were always louder from places I never heard of.

Poor me indeed. Or maybe not. I was born within earshot of the ground and was therefore destined to support them for life. I stood on the huge East terrace for years cheering on some great players (and plenty of mediocre ones); watched concerts by The Who and the sensational Alex Harvey band, and cried as the club moved out to groundshare at bloody Selhurst Park. I cried again when we returned in December 1992. When you follow a team such as Charlton, it's wise to bear in mind Churchill's definition of success, i.e. the ability to move from one disappointment to the next without any loss of enthusiasm. But, when the Valley is full and rocking, wow, it's a fantastic atmosphere and I'd defy you to hear the away fans!

The thing i hate with a nap is when you turn on to view and the money is Obviously down on another horse. Very often i bet the other horse in those cicumstances as I like to see a late plunge but invariably the nap gets beat.
