NAPS TABLE UPDATE
Rob J Duty Calls 8/1 (nice one!), El Gran Senor Masked Crusader 4/6, and a placed return for Craig with Gypsy Lee Rose 3rd at 7/1 ... these are the final figures for February. Many will be glad to see the back of the month.
February Results
By my reckoning only 3 tipsters made a profit in February: David, Jonathan Dawe and Luke H. And again on my counting David wins the February table, although I will await confirmation that I haven't made a serious blunder. Would those who feel they want to, kindly check and see if you are happy with my settlement? If there are no appeals by 8pm tomorrow, I will confirm David as the winner and get the March tickets organised.
In the table below (had to split into 3 to get it on the page) the individual settlement of each bet is in the final column. In the penultimate column, the total returns are listed for that individual. Only those who made a three figure return have been highlighted in colour.

All the best.
Joe

This Leicester meeting is traditionally a gathering of the clans for the pointing and hunting community of the county. It always has proper winter ground so you will see the hunter chasers with their tails tied up in PTP style - it's really only Venetia who carries on this practice among the pro NH trainers these days. Today's card features both open and maiden hunter chases. Much as I'd like a permit trainer to win both events I must admit the valuable Open (4.05) has two leading contenders from pro yards in the shape of Pure Vision and Marracudja. Anthony Honeyball's Pure Vision has had a catalogue of physical problems through his career and has probably spent more time standing in a paddock at JP's Martinstown farm than he has in a box at Honeyball's. He came out and won a weak open hunter at Ffos Las recently, but the form has little substance. By contrast Dan Skelton has had Marracudja for a long time, and has gone to war often with this former crack 2m hurdler-chaser. He was with Paul Nicholls back when Sam T-D was stable jockey, and was duffed up a few times by Altior over hurdles and fences, which is nothing to be ashamed of. As he has got older and slower (haven't we all?) he gets further at this lowly level, and ran very well four weeks in a hot race behind the impressive Wagner (note him tomorrow at Wincanton) and Cousin Pascal, who went on to win at Haydock on Grand National Trial day. That hunter chase is always a war of attrition on heavy ground, and Cousin Pascal wore down Bob And Co, who has a live chance at Cheltenham if he gets over that race OK. So the form is rock solid and at 11/4 Marracudja is a nice price too land the spoils for "Fancy" Dan. I'm Wiser Now has been well supported this morning and is the beat of the pointers.
Echo others congratulations to David! Well done. I’m on a bad run but going with a longie to start the month. Top Attraction in the 1720 @ Newcastle. EW.
February is a short month but the fact it would need to be 10 days long for me to be in profit has pulled me up short (in keeping with some of my selections!). Congratulations to David (+ Jonathan D & Luke H) for showing how it should be done.
My attempt to get straight onto this month’s scoreboard rests with Kopa Kilana in the 14.40 at Catterick.
Congratulations David, another fine month's worth of naps.

The article in the Guardian about the Tote betting in their own pools is worth a read.I am amazed it is legal,I do not think it should legal be as any insider trading is playing with a marked card and surely committing a fraud on the other players.
Well done David.
