Alan continues in fine form with another profit on Monday. On catchup I've added JD's Sunday winner. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
New Site
Good to see such a strong response on day one for talkinghorses.pro. Below is the current list: please check if I have missed you off, and, is there any other regular missing, someone who might not have logged in for a while?
Anyone who missed Monday's post on the founding member call for a new site, please check the opening post on July 17th. In the meantime, I will start the ball rolling with WordPress.

I like this quote from Tom Dascombe: "If everybody in life tried as hard as he does, there wouldn’t be any problems in the world. If I could let him live in my house I would.”
I have a lot of time for Dascombe. He deserves every bit of success in his new training base.
I'm not a participant in the monthly comp - max respect for those who do take part though - but I would still like to make a contribution to the new site, so "I'm in!" as they say.

A little after time (and off topic), but I would like to applaud Clare Balding for her presenting of Wimbledon, where she managed, to my mind, the considerable achievement of being more insufferable than Ed Chamberlin!
Two standouts moments for me:
On Saturday, interrupting the expert speaking, to talk about the strength in depth of Czech players in the past at Wimbledon - the expert being Navratilova!!
On Sunday, declaring before the men's final that it will be 'talked about for all-time' - and then afterwards, wondering if she had 'undersold it'?!
Drawn a bit wide just to diminish his chances further, the poor sap burdened with my selection is
