David's in remarkable form, landing his 4th winning nap in a row - brilliant stuff. Cracking winner too today for Gforce at 11/1. - Well done all winners.
Some of you my recall a few months ago in preparation for an extension to my home I had to remove a Palm tree. After much chopping and digging the tree was successfully removed. However, in the process of lifting a far too heavy (well for me anyway) piece of the trunk I managed to give myself a Hernia. Later this morning I am having surgery to fix it. As this is my first ever surgery I am somewhat apprehensive. I have a 10lb weight limit on carrying anything for the next month. I should probably lower my maximum bet limit in unison based on my recent naps.
I had the same operation three weeks ago. Had op at 2.30 which took 30 minutes and I was out of hospital at 6 p.m. No driving for a week. Best to keep moving about, walking, in the days afterwards. Good luck.
Tea For Free 4.00 Southwell is the nap, well done to yesterdays winners,I am off on a mini break for the next few days so will not be posting.I hope a few of us can back the national winner.
@QuaiDB Why would anyone put the anti racing comment up as a pick unless they felt it was justified and agreed with it. Moderator or whoever .
So ,why would Greg just leave it still standing if he had the sports best interests at heart when he saw it .To me hes Woodwards pet ,which is why he stayed and Chris left because he refused to peddle the anti line which Greg has always pushed. Look how he focused on Elliots cock up and was incorporating it into his articles weeks later.
@Dilton "Pickers" will put up anything that is controversial to attract further comments. I don't think you can draw conclusions about the paper's editorial line from it. I don't think Greg or any other journalist has any say on what is picked, what the headline is, or what stays up.
You can construct any amount of conspiracy theories about what happened. Calling Greg Wood, "Woodward's pet" does not advance the truth. I think you'd need to ask Chris and Greg for their accounts to find the truth. I expect Chris has done quite well out of it. The inescapable fact is that the Guardian has reduced its coverage significantly. It's perfectly feasible that Woodward was told to reduce his budget by the finance managers who analyse clicks and reads, take hard nosed decisions, and as horse racing fell well below the acceptable cost and benefit line, Woodward was told to halve his staffing costs.
It wasn't only the Guardian that focussed on "Elliot's cock up". I do not think that it is grounds for concluding that the Guardian has an anti-horseracing agenda. In the same way, there is no reason why the Guardian should be a cheerleader for horse racing, either. It's a great pity, but it was pointed out many times that the number of comments btl was miniscule compared with football, etc.
@QuaiDB take the blinkers and rose coloured specs off.

The only tracker horse for tomorrow is Hometruths Saint Cloud 15.10 and the filly is the Nap. A good performance tomorrow may see her take on Agave in the Prix de Diane.
I modestly post my nap at 8/13 Wicked West in the 15.00 at Exeter today.
Don't judge. At least He (I need to be careful as I don't know what thoughts Geldings have) won by 28L.
Bit late - Music Seeker 1625 @ Pontefract is the EW NAP. Currently drifted out to 16/1.
Technological 11/4 Won
Wick Green 4.10E
Peter The Great in the 14:40 at Pontefract.

Nap Southwell 4.00 - Inca Rose
sorry this ended up under Dilton's thoughts on yesterday's piece in the Guardian. I agree 100% btw. Depressing stuff.
Tea time on Mars. Devon 4.10.
If ever proof was needed what the Guardians true feelings are towards racing Greg's latest offerings and the choice of the pick make it apparent .
