Well done Highflying and the ultra consistent Gaz on Wenesday winners. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
Naas 3.40 winner Kendall Roy: Twilight Son ex Procedure (Invincible Spirit). That's one brilliantly named racehorse. Succession addicts will understand.
I am expecting Tranquillity to go close in the last at Ffos Las today. The Massaat filly ran her best race over this C&D two starts ago and today is ridden by Saffie Osborne, who is on the crest of a wave at the moment and has a nice book of rides.
Saffie was unable to make use of her good draw there and the horse was a bit slow to get into the thick of things, using up a bit of petrol in the process. He flinched momentarily when she asked him to go between horses which was a pity as he wasn't beaten far in third. He's one of those good each way shouts who ought to be winning a race or two at this level and probably will when your back's turned.
Surprised EGS didn't note Johannes Brahms. I developed a theory Moore would fire her from the gate and assume that 'golden highway' up the stand side rail. Then tracker told me Dragon Leader was likely to piss it and she's on the other side and in big straight races eg Lincoln, low numbers were always favoured. Not now they say.
Nap Donny 1610 Sisyphus Strength
hoping he doesn't repeat losing me money like at York. I may have imbibed plenty that day but it still hurts like a bad hangover.
Gallantly 17.25. Naas. Alas now 8/13 when he was way longer yesterday.
He is not in the Talking Horse realm of Diego Velasquez but he did come in to my bedroom and whisper sweet nothings over the Summer.
He won't be messed about by his Jockey as this is his first Race and Lissen doesn't care if they fail to win first time out and the e.w. 33/1 for the Epsom Derby is the sensible bet.
However he is my nap even though he will shorten to something like 1/3 as he cannot just have been talking to me.
