Yes, I use a Mac. WordPress is hosting this new site on their most expensive plan (with a Wpforo plugin to run the forum) It should be usable on every known browser and device. I've changed the registration spam filter to Recaptcha, which isn't ideal, but hopefully solves the previous maths crap.

Apologies for this late response - had an unpredictable day.

I'll have a look at this this evening/tomorrow morning to see what I can do to address the issues raised below. I won't respond to them individually here for now until I see what else can be changed in the back office. But I will come back and edit this post again as soon as i've made progress.

i have same problem as Harry as noted o new site - i cant login through the notification question and didnt want to go through the change password to login. just to say that?

I think from memory Joe you use a Mac? No idea what versions of windows browsers support the new site software - what is the base code for the new site - there may be hints on internet? or can we lose the maths?

Hi Joe, thanks for all the work you've put into the new site which I'm now using. In common with most change I'm sure it will take a bit of time to get used to.

My only observation so far is how small the pages are, in that it seems only 4 posts fit on a topic page. This feels a bit odd and markedly different from other forums. I guess this is outside your control and, while it's not necessarily that important, it makes reading through a thread rather cumbersome.

Also, although I have managed to load a profile photo, for some reason it has turned 90 degrees!

yeah - id like to configure to more than 4 too but dont know if thats a site admin thing ( ie Joe) or can be tailored.

I still cant get in on my PC as i cant answer the number question!

Did others just use there phone or find a way around that?

My other question was how to change my profile mugshot (do I need a Prisoner Number?)
