I've followed Addeybb for a long time, and it's a really interesting race. Given that my naps are nearly all coming 2nd or last, I'll nap Bay Bridge in 7.25 - I hope this means Addeybb wins and not Mostahdaf!
It's possibly a bit of prep for Addeybb, whereas you'd think this was a long term target for Bay Bridge, with Stoute having won it 11 times...

Haggas recently stated that Addeybb is in the best condition he’s been for some 18 months. He also stated that at his Agee the horse takes longer to get ready, so it may be the prep for Royal Ascot. It’s a good race with Stoute’s and the Gosden horse. Then again Addeybb is a class act,
it is a good race - dont think Addeybb should be close to 4 to 1 but i'm not really one for looking for the "value angle" ( big priced losers are losers) and i think the Gosden horse will be too good as its favourite track.

ADDEYBB Sandown 19.25 Is the nap. ENEMY is also backed.
In sprints and prob lots of other races I like horses that fire off in front. As Johnsons would say 'always trying'. If something goes by then fair enough. Just such a horse is
@Dilton Thanks, its a conclusion I've been drawn to over the years. You see jockeys with their feet on the dash board fighting with horses because 'it won't get home'. Personally I reckon a lot of horses get pissed off with this tactic, obs no way I can prove it, because what they want to do is run. Sometimes sprint races fall apart because of a fast early pace but I'm firmly in the camp that doesn't go with that tactic.
@GForce horses are creatures of habit , to get one to change it's running style ,ie from being slow out the gate / held up to being ridden handy or lead is bloody hard work. At the risk of Michael populating this forum it's why I cannot abide Spencer's jaw breaking at the gate and dropping them out into the next parish. The stick he got last year in HK was brilliant when he did that on two rides . Crowley often over does it and thinks hes on a Porche whereas young Marquand is very savvy pace wise. He and Holly rode out with Pat Dobbs at Hannons from youngsters and it really shows now .
Yesterdays early posted tips won to give me a nice patent. Try same today. I'll have forest falcon at ripon 2.40. Fanning for Johnsons at 1m 4 often a good shout
David, I had a quick look on Horseracebase, nothing too deep, but there might well be something to your theory as, although running at a slight loss, there's a strike rate of almost 19% at 12f versus 13% at 8f (the only other trip I checked).
NAP Getaway Milani, 6.35 Limerick, Tommy Cooper and his young fella Bryan (eh!).
