That's certainly how I'm feeling after a bruising encounter with William Hill. After I made a complaint on 23 April they dealt with it inadequately at a lower level but unsatisfactorily. When a supervisor finally conceded my point he then told a blatant lie which was so easy to disprove it's almost laughable. Now they are blocking me.
So they are correct that when it's no fun betting with William Hill it's time to stop.
I will never bet with that firm ever again. Even if I could, which I can't. They priced up Honeysuckle at 5/2 for her first Champion Hurdle when everyone else was going 7/4. It took me nearly 12months to get the money off them.
Really. I remember Moida on TH had the most massive row with them and cursed them to dwell forever in the flames of damnation. I thought he was over-egging it at the time but now I know he was right.
Having seen part of the Ukraine performance, I'm desperately hoping for a sympathy vote... and I'm more happy with my Moldova bet that was matched at 1,000-1
Really struggling to find a decent priced runner today - and after looking through Chester, was not excited by other meetings today either! It's not fancied, but I'll try:
True Statesman nap 2.05 Ch
Positives: only course winner in the field, which was best performance, yard going fine, and Ryan Moore on board at Chester. A tiny bet (25/1) doubled with Look Out Louis, another with a great record at Chester.
I am a bit mystified by No Nay Never's stallion fee - 175,00 Euros!
In 2016/2017 it was 17.500, and I don't see much evidence from sales, or progeny to justify the price. I get that the US/Scat Daddy line may make him a good mix with european bloodstock, but really? 175,000?
Is it just Coolmore paying themselves this kind of money?!
Big questions need to be answered. Has the Haggas' horsebox broken down? Only 2 runners in the last week; did they have to hitch a ride with S O Else? One won so maybe they just want an enviable strike rate. I like Hamish if only for the name but
Nap Chester 1330 Lihou
Haley knows she has to fire this one out like Holly and command the fresh ground. What could possibly go wrong?
The 3td time in a row napping Je T'ai Porte to no avail in the 16.45 at Clonmel.
I am meant to be proficient in French (oh, the homework) but am still not sure it translates as 'I have carried you' (possible pregnancy issue) or 'I have been a gate to you'
I think it's an acute on the e at the end (past participle?) that makes it 'I've carried you', or 'I've been carrying you' - depending on context (which I'm sure you know). Will be in Brittany Sunday, where I hope I will not have to be carrying my brother!
When the Fun Stops, Stop . . .

Eurovison anyone? Ukraine even massive odds on was a good bet last time.
I've just bet Ukraine EW as 11/1 seems OK. and Croatia and Moldova as they were fun!
Doyens de ante won at 15 to 8
Dark Pine EW Nap 2nd 25/1
Dark Pine 15:45 Chester EW Nap
Sticking to my guns in not betting at Chester. It's possible i may have had a winner there in the past 40 odd years but I doubt it.
Bold Territories in the 20:45 at Thirsk.
Jack of clubs. 6.10. Thirsk.
Alder 2.40Ch.
Doyens De Ante Huntingdon 16.30 - was taken out of a race last night to run in this so must have half a chance.
