Back picking winners, especially Pebbles and Gaz, who are on fine runs. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
Caught out again by Betfair changing the place conditions after my bet was placed. It was still offering 4 places after Nestor Park was NR when I placed my bet with 10 runners, but after race was run and Omar Maretti also NR, I found out it was only 3 places, so nothing on my EW double with Spirit of Legend. Annoying!!
Did get some joy from my Trixie on State Man, Zambella and Gaillard du Mesnil, but still feel hard done by :(
Really enjoyed watching the darts last night. MVG's match was a cracker. The moment that gave me the gamblers exquisite agony was when he declined one dart at bull to win the match because in his mind his opponent, Mensur Suljovic couldn't checkout 161 which he promptly did. I didn't mind my acca going out of the window at that point - it was only a fun bet. The raucous crowd have the time of their lives much more fun than the 'respectful' snooker fans.
Nap Leo 1345 Three Stripe Life
who if he is as close to Mighty Potter as I think will take all the beating.
A very poor December. Could be time for another clear out of the tracker stable. I'm close to giving up on backing the jumpers after this festive period.
I've similar thoughts myself. I've 2 Trackers, in theory 1 for flat 1 for jumps but still get them mixed up. You may miss a few winners but a complete empty at the start of a season helps I find.
I am going safe in the last dying days of the month as the difference between coming 6th and 7th in this competition pays enough to recruit new signings for my research Team next month (maybe a Personal Trainer or Motivational Coach).
I have done the ex-Ballydoyle Brazil in the 13.30 at Limerick at enhanced e.w. down to 5 places at Constitiuon Hill odds as I heed the advice on another Forum.
My nap is not as boring as it seems. Gaillard Du Mesnil. 13.45. Leopardstown. Might start evens but where does promise ever get you?
