Special Buddy won at 9/5, although it feels a bit lame in light of a 17/2 corker from EGS. Not to mention his each way selection of Glounthaune at 40/1 in the Boomerang Mile at Leopardstown on 10th September. If you don’t record that one on the naps table Joe it will keep coming back at you!
I think there was so much lengthy verbal peregrination about Glounthaune that it would have taken a detective to find the nap. I take responsibility for that as I rambled on about the name. Not only that, I am not certain that you actually put it up as a winner (albeit ew) on the day, only indirectly a day later? I think you need to make things easy for Joe as he's got the short straw? And, apropos of something I wrote in the Observer today, which I doubt you saw, could Mrs Magnier choose Michelangelo as a horse's name? There have been three already I think.
P.S. I have edited this to eliminate errors, add bits and alter the tone and so on.
Every training course I’ve been on always had the same underlying, sometimes subliminal, message. Namely, acknowledgement of successful 40/1 ew tips is good for the soul.
Sakheer was impressive yesterday, but the media always seem to hype up a 2 yo for classics rather too eagerly. The trainer says probably best as a sprinter, by Zoffany; 19% strike rate at Group races for 2 year olds, but just 4% at 3 (2 fillies from 42). No idea about sectionals, but time wasn't great either, whereas 1.40 and 3.25 pretty quick.
Usually when they're burdened with my selection they drift in the other direction. I once backed a hurdler of Evan Williams' that was back from a layoff. I took the opening price of 5/1 & watched in agony as it drifted out to 16s. it eventually went off at 12/1 & bolted up. I nearly ripped up the ticket!
Zig Zag Zyggy 3.30 Hamilton is the nap, very well done to EGS and Leo on your 12/1 naps.Well done too David I am sure your strike rate is the highest of us all you always seem to be napping winners.
He's a good recent winner but has to give 25lbs to Sergeant. I can only think Paddy Brennan is particularly sweet on the Milton Harris horse if he's prepared to do 10st2lb to ride him.
A La Francaise wins at 5/4.
Only Money won at 5/2

Iris Dancer won at 17/2 at Hamilton Park in the 14.00. e.w.
Over the cliff with Heronord (18 race maiden) in the 14:20 at Plumpton followed by the kitchen sink.
Sergeant Plumpton 3.20.
Iris Dancer. 14.00. Hamilton Park. e.w.
It appears the whole World has taken a break from Group Racing aside from a Stakes Race at Woodbine out of respect.
I have looked through the Record of Iris Dancer and whilst she refuses to be an Alpha Filly she likes to get close enough in her Pecking Order.
Her most recent placings are; 255255.
I think this is Spy Code at work but I am not Alan Turing.
Special Buddy - 14.20 Plumpton
Cuban Cigar 16:00 Ham Nap
Only Money - 15.50 Plumpton

4.30H Super Stars NAP
Not much taking my fancy, and might be a bad idea taking on Leo after yesterday's excellent tip (and well done EGS), but a few things appealed:
Name! Breeding. Ran fresh after a break, decent chance to improve on that, and ground probably a plus too.
4.30 Hamilton - A La Francaise
Clan jock 4.00H.
