(bit of a sweat with steward's enquiry, then EW bets with Hamish and Haskoy helped - after moaning about Betfair not paying extra places last weekend, they have paid me on Haskoy who was demoted, I think - swings and roundabouts)
Ignoring the tried and tested maxim of selecting the best race of the day for a nap selection, I am taking on Luke's nap with Chipstead's stablemate Whenthedealinsdone in the 14:10 at Doncaster
A few horses have interlinked some really good form and since I got stuck in they've drifted. In defiance of the bookies judging my opinion I'm thinking about putting more on. Highfield Princess and The Platinum Queen are 2, but at the longest price the nap goes to
Nap Donny 1520 Garrus
which is a bit speculative as I really like Kinross, but faint heart........
I'm with Pebbles on Brunch who is one of my cliff horses
Having fun (not!) with Betfair... after 6 years, I've run out of funds and having to deposit again. Have managed to update a card and make a deposit, but address, home phone number and mobile number are all wrong!
When I try and change my phone number, it says its sending a verification code to my old mobile - a number I haven't used in about 5 years. When I try and change the address, it keeps telling me that my postcode is invalid, when it is correct! Annoying sods.
I know you are not doing our our old friend Aftertiming as I was in the same boat.
My Marriage to Betfair was closer to 3 for lack of deposits than 6 (and I bet it was 5 and half for you just as I was 2 and a half) and despite all our idiotic naps on this Forums it is possible to keep pace with Mr. Bookmaker if you lay overhyped Horses and particularly Football Teams (that was my strategy in my Betfair Marriage).
Sorry but there is no Marriage Counselling that will work.
I had a one night fling with Bet 365 after Betfair told me amicably they no longer find me attractive and here we are 8 years on.
He’s probably too high in the weights but I’m sure there’s a win or two in him this season and I’m not going to miss out. Plus Sunday is a good day for Brunch (16.30 Doncaster).
Fine ride from Pat Dobbs on Trillium. An object lesson to any young jockey in the correct use of the stick.
Chipstead won 15/2
