Some observations on horses outside these shores. Francois Nicolle’s HERMES BAIE won the Champion Hurdle at Auteuil by 7 lengths yesterday, beating Willie Mullin’s three challengers and L’Autonomie. There’s talk of sending the horse to The Festival next year and probably for the Stayers. Today one of my favourite horses SEL JEM, is third favourite behind Al Boum Photo and should go close with his regular jockey up, following a relatively poor second by virtue of what can be best described as a considerate ride. Moving onto the German 2000 Guineas the inform William Haggas sends MALJOOM.
However, the nap is CONCERT HALL each way is the Irish 1000 Guineas.
@Dilton Not a generous sentiment. Why not celebrate the fact that we are privileged to see the best teams and players in the world playing in the UK? Pep Guardiola, too, is indeed the best manager. Most fair minded observers see it that way. One of the English characteristics that is known the world over is, "May the best team win". Sportsmanship. I still stick to it.
As for Fernandinho, I have never seen him guilty of a vicious foul. He's been a great servant for City and has been rightly honoured by them.
I am sad to see such disrespect and contempt for Wolves, too. I find it incomprehensible that anyone would wish to see a club fail that has had little success in recent years, though with a wonderful history in the 1950s. I like to see any small club find good fortune and rise again.
@QuaiDB What goes on in your head ,and eyes . Fernandinho has chopped down more players than Tony Jacklyn had Golf clubs. He nearly decapitated Raphina last season when Leeds played City . Thats his job I know and understand it . Pep plays like that, stop them on the half way line . He had Busquets at Barca and that bloke in Germany whose name escapes me. Without doubt City deserve the title as they have the best team though I wanted Liverpool to win it big time .
All that other stuff you've written only emphasises that you've never been involved in any pro sport ,its called passion. Will to win.

None of the fully qualified pro sport referees and pro sport line officials and pro sport VAR officlals spotted these terrible potentially career ending fouls.
