Naps Table Update
Catch-up from Friday where I missed (apologies) winners from Luke H - Metier 11/4, and from Gforce I love Evoin 11/2. Well done.
Saturday brought winning naps from Gaz P - Minella Drama 85/40, Rob J - Routine Excellence, El Gran Senor - Shishkin 5/6, and Loose Buttons with Royal Pagaille 5/2. Nice work, all.
Good luck for Sunday
Barrichello won at 7/2.
War lord was up for up the battle to land the nap at 11/10
Late on parade so
Nap Ling 1425 Bravemansgame
War Lord in the Ling 1.50 for the nap
Our Jester showed he is no fool and came in at 5/2.
Seaston Spirit 3.35
Times and going allowances are in from Ascot. The chase course was riding minus 10.40 slow per mile ,hurdle track much better at minus 4.80.
Prior to yesterday Energumene had only ran to 144 on the clock so on paper he had it all to do against Shiskin who has topped at 165.
I didnt think the latter looked as straight as he could be in the paddock ,hes thickened up and with that wider route he went hes ran to 160 ,E improved enormously to 159. He looked as fit as a butchers hook here. Hendersons horse was the better one before the race ,and hes the better one after and I just cant see E getting the better of him.
I've been asked to arrange a yard visit to Milton's, it's open to everyone ,not just the syndicate members so anyone wanting to go please let Paul know at info@talking-horses.com or me at quickhorseratings@gmail.com.
We are in deepest Wiltshire but easy to get to from the M4 or A303.
Runs well fresh and on heavy, OK he may not act on the course, and be past his best, but I'll still nap one of my favourites: Bristol de Mai 3.0L
Barrichello - 14.50 Warwick (nap)
Nap - 2.50 Warwick - Washington
The Greek nap (Thurles, 14:05)
I need a big priced winner so will try High Counsel 3.25 Warwick, well done yesterdays winners.
All The Chimneys is 14/1 in an eight runner field in the 15.45 at Thurles and is my e.w. nap.
A day for a long coupon as there are some Horses today running on reputation and there has to value in taking them on.
Jeremy's flame 2.40T.
Our Jester Lingers 12.50mis the nap. I’m also backing Danilo D’Airy at 9s in the 13.20. There’s too much hype over Shishkin v. Enurgemene. Very good race, two very good horses - the one if the best classic races - dream on.
Also like the pick of Lieutenant Rocco ... now I've got a patent...good luck
The big race at Lingfield is fascinating. I doubt Bristol De Mai will act there, and I can't understand why they didn't go to Haydock. Three others - Itchy Feet, Master Tommytucker, and Run For Gold can be dodgy jumpers, each susceptible to a race-ending mistake. Fanion D'estruval can also make mistakes, though I'm assuming that after a hard race today he will not run.
That leaves Dashel Drasher as the likely winner, but at the prices I think Lieutenant Rocco offers way more value. Watch his last race and you'd think he'd been jumping all his life (only 4 runs over fences). He was superb despite looking like he would come on a lot for it. Haven't seen him in the flesh, but, on TV he looks very chunkily made and prone to carrying condition.
One caveat would perhaps be that he might be hard to keep sound. He's had just 7 races (yet 4 trainers, this one his latest and this his yard debut). What is going on there, I wonder?
Anyway, he is the nap. I'll back him as well at 22/1 with a saver on Dashel Drasher.
Milton has two out tomorrow at Lingfield... coin toss so it's Global Agreement 16:08 for the Nap and EW double on both..
