Naps Table Update
No winning Saturday naps, though a bold try by Jonathan Dawe who took The Cob EW - placed at 50/1 1/4 odds. Craig also had a placed horse in the heavily gambled Rightplacerightime 7/2 (from 7s).
If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
I thought Ahoy Senor, despite his jumping, was hugely impressive back left handed. I've backed him for the old RSA and for The Gold Cup both at good prices and NRNB. Fingers crossed. I see Conflated has now joined the Buggins Turn Grade 1 Irish Chasers. Whose turn will it be next?
Good luck all
Joe

I am happy with "Buggins Turn" Grade 1 Irish chasers if I know them in advance! I am not sure if Conflated can be conflated with that description, though...I keep an eye on The Racing Forum and I noted that one of those posters highly attuned to Irish Racing had selected Conflated along with Frodon as his two bets. He'd got odds of 33s for Conflated well before the race (24th January) and commented then, "but Conflated, with a Gold Cup entry, could be progressive, and another who’s a fair old price in a race that can really cut up." He's got a bet on it for the other Gold Cup at 770s (Yes, that's not a typo), but says sagely that horses which win the Irish Gold Cup don't have much of record in the other one. Such knowledge and perspicacity about horses is way beyond my beginner's level (I have just about learned the moves on the chessboard), but I am grateful to those who are willing to share their knowledge so freely.

The TH headline in The Guardian is "Conflated holds off Minella Indo and Frodon to triumph"................. Frodon finished last of the 7 who finished, beaten 20.5 lengths or so. Who writes these headlines??
