Winners from David, EGS and Savoieblue yesterday - well done. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
I know Harry follows the fortunes of small trainers. I noticed Gemma Tutty on twitter posting her position in the hot trainers table. Predictably, fate promptly stepped in and got her Hamilton 4/7 chance well stuffed. I asked her if she put this run down to anything in particular; if she replies I'll let you know.

Nice to see brother Rhodri ,who is a brilliant player resume his rugby tackling style and escape a booking in the first game back.
Alba longa won evens.
Guiness affair won at 8 to 11. An NR reduced price but an easy win
5.15 Haydock- Wind Yor Neck In
This fella beat Israr as a 2yo but was then hopeless at 3. His recent runs have been encouraging, though he looks mood, as much as ground dependent – more moods than the Style Council.
I had my first return of the week in yesterday's Stewards. SkyBet was paying 8places and Albasheer sneaked in just ahead of the mud-soaked 9th. What a bloody disaster. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
i see the cycling was stopped by protesters today. This in an area i'm very torn on - i think, folks should have a right to ptotest, but it pisses me off when its something im interested in! Like racing.
I suspect i'm not alone - yet how do folks get their points across these days? its easy for say Musk or some Kardashian as like it or not it will pop up somewhere i happen to notice it.
The folks looking for action on the clmate you have to have some sympathy - for the sake of our kids etc for most of us i imagine. Life was simpler in the past - everything wasnt better by any means but the problems of sayt he 70s seemed less existential ( though we of course have nuclear war well high high ligthted but that feels more 80s with CND etc).
Anyway - no answers from me.
Stately Home in the 16:38 at Chester. After this week at Goodwood I should look for a horse called Homeless.
I watched Phillipa Cooper (Normandie Stud) being interviewed yesterday at Goodwood (I previously saw another interview with her at Royal Ascot?, cant quite remember). I thought she came across very well and seems an interesting lady. I think she knows her own mind.
Just had a bit of a read about her, I'd like to read some more, if anyone has any information.
Hotrocket - 16.00 Galway
NAP Hereditary Rule, 3.30 Galway.
Rebel Royal 4.22 Market Rasen is the nap, well done yesterday's winners.
Pyramid Place 18:45 Haydock Nap
Haydock 4.45.
The frustrating Asadjumeriah was runner up in this race 12 months ago. 10lb lower today, must have a chance. I'll plump for him.
Thanks to Harry for the link to Diogo Dias. I know how he felt when the bookies limited his bet. They've probably closed his account after it won.
Being a glutton for punishment I'm back to Deauville today. The ground was described as heavy yesterday and its good today so they either have wonderful drainage or are taking the piss. Whatever its put me off Sandrine as I don't think she's at her best on soft despite a win on it in her youth. We'll find out if Art Power just loves Ireland these days or the travelling. In 2020 I thought that highly of him I backed him to beat Bataash in the Nunthorpe. Foolhardy with hindsight but Bataash was having stalls issues.
Nap Deau 1525 Cold Case
Couldn't truly decide which will win out, carrying the least or the strength of age, more Clifford Lee would have had the choice of the stables runners (perhaps).
Spycatcher 3.25 Deau nap
Nap: Fast Response, 15:38 Chs
Guineas Affair. Mr 14.35
Not sure it does..... Greatness Awaits - 16.22 Market Rasen
Alba longa 2.00C.
Poor looking G1 Maurice De Gheest at Deauville today and I am sure some Trainers are kicking themselves for withdrawals from an earlier declaration stage.
Noble Style. Win only. 15.38. Chester.
He has been Gelded since his last Run and is in first time Blinkers to be sure to be sure he is not looking at the Ladies.
I would have put on a Triple Lock on him with the application of a nasal irritating unction that Dilton once patiently explained to me inflames the nasal membranes and dulls their sense of nearby Female Pheromones.
This is the Humane thing to do as i think it kinder to bring a Colt to a Racecourse and back with a Runny Nose and not a Hard-On that was never sated.
I asked my GP for all 3 Interventions for myself to make my own life easier but he is WOKE (when did PC become WOKE and why?) and told me it was medically unethical.
I told him you wouldn't treat a Horse this way.
