A couple of the fancied horses are drawn very wide in this 15 runner contest. I very rarely back anything above stall 7 over 7f & 1m at Sandown. On my last visit Sean Levey nearly put William Buick in the carpark of Esher station when he tried to cross over from a wide draw. It can be an absolute bloody nightmare.
My punting for the York Festival reminded me of a bad round of golf. A few duck hooks, unlucky bounces, an eagle out of nowhere in the first race on Friday, followed by lipping out for birdies for a few holes, not even bothering to play the first 3 on Saturday, beaten out of a place in the big one by a 28/1 shot. On the point of giving up forever I finish with 3 birdies to keep me coming back.
Loom Large in the 17:30 at Naas.
I need a life coach who blames me when I don't win, but claims all the credit when I do win.
One of my fav horses was Glen Shiel and despite being originally trained by Fabre was owned by Sheikh Mo who I recall had a getaway and owned a lot of land there. At the bottom of the glen lies the village of Inverinate which is blessed by the petrol station that is also the local grocers and very good it is too. There is a growing number of horses named after places in the Bonnie Highlands eg Inverness, Dornoch Castle, Glenfinnan which are well known whereas beautiful Inverinate isn't. Can anyone tell me if there is a reason for the name as I can see nothing in the breeding/owners/trainer that suggests a connection. Also unrelated

who I seem to recall the jockey rode his claim out last time.
Dornoch Castle is by Gleneagles and Inverness by Highland Reel.
Sue Magnier went through a Golf Course phase when naming the initial progeny of Gleneagles but is now using any Scottish landmark whether highlands or lowlands.
Loom Large wins at 9/1

Hoping this is the breakthrough, after being 2nd in a Group 1, and Verry Elleegant may well need a run or two in Arc prep.

I have done a reverse forecast in Basil Martini/Dower House with the former my nap. 15.00. Naas.
Not sure why you would want to spoil a Martini by adding Basil but there you go.
I am currently enrolled in a life coaching skills course courtesy of a famous Trainer.
My napping this month reflects my inability to "concetrate". I needed a "a bit of a public warning and that's the way it is"
I should have been "left on the bench" this month.
He has told me in front of the group when "he's not in the zone he's a menace".
He talked of a "Baldrick Plan" but I never remember Baldrick showing such crass lack of humility.
