JD's been in fine form of late and saves us a Saturday whitewash with a 7/1 winner: well done. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
My Parents tell me it was the happiest day to be alive in London that day. I would have been in a cupboard shelf so don't remember.
The Ireland Football Team were robbed by a dodgy referee decisionin a play-off for that 1966 competition and I don't think. We would have won the WC anyway
who did me a favour as well as impressing me at Goodwood. I know I've sung the praises of Elite Status but the Norfolk form 3rd doesn't look red hot as the 2nd there got stuffed by Pebbles' Jasour next time so I can see the attraction of that one at 20s with Rossa up. In fact it may be a more profitable selection if the French beast is as good as they say. That's not mentioning Lissen's unbeaten star either. Cracking race!
Nice work GForce. Won nicely and definitely improving. Also, decent run from River Tiber and Lissen must be rubbing his hands thinking about what he's got in City of Troy.
Can't be anything other than disappointed with Jasour. Perhaps it was the ground or, as EGS says, maybe he's one that simply isn't that good.
Not sure what the ground will be like at Deauville today but I'll stick with Jasour (ew) in the 15.25. He's done me a couple of favours this summer, especially last time out at Newmarket, and I think Clive Cox rates him. I'm assuming he won't run if it's too deep.
Ouzo looks a solid fav, but Orbaan is down to a winning mark and he’s got a plum draw out of gate 4.    Â
I really fancied Omniscient in Sandown’s final race today. I thought he ran with considerable credit for a long way in the Northumberland Plate before the tank emptied 1f out. It looks as though that effort didn’t go unnoticed: he was 11/1 yesterday, but he’s as short as 4/1 this morning. It’s probably a case of fools seldom differing as opposed to great minds thinking alike though.
I have looked at Curragh and Deauville cards for hours and I couldn't press the submit button when I went to the check out cart.
The weather continues to be disgusting in Northern Europe and Horses running in swamps but that didn't put me off. I just wondered if the Horses were any good in the first place.
The Organiser won at 7/2
Yorkkindness won at 7 to 4

WobWobWon was 3rd yesterday at 5-1 for EW nap. Was miles bigger when bet
So I remain one of a dwindling bunch of people who have seen England win a Football World Cup in person.
The Organiser in the 17:05 at the Curragh.

Orbaan for me as well. 5.45 Sandown.
Hit form this time last season + would be well handicapped on those runs.

Not a day for betting.
