One return on Saturday and a couple I missed from Friday - apologies. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
Looking at yesterday's comments, I'm with Luke: Hewick went through that race like a class horse and finished it like one too. He'll be very interesting for next season.

To cheer myself up yesterday after Harper's Brook decided to go on strike, I watched the 1972 Prix Ganay on Twitter with the wonderful Peter O'Sullivan saying it's Mill Reef and the rest nowhere at the end of the race, Mill Reef was probably my first ever favorite horse and his performance in the Ganay that day must rank high up in the annals of racing performances.

I'd a reasonable Saturday (for me) as it wasn't a financial disaster, indeed the difference between profit and loss was JD's Harpers Brook. The way the horse pricked his ears as if to say 'my work here is done' was jaw dropping. I laughed once I'd got over the money.
Sunday Series. My memory says I enjoyed last season and it certainly served up some interesting dynamics - I just wish I could remember them. I think one was Karl B introducing some decent juveniles so

Personally, I’ll be glad to see the back of April but at least we’ve all got a coronation to look forward to…… when King Jake is crowned (again) tomorrow and extends his reign over us!👑
However, I know he’s fallible because on three occasions this month I have followed his selections with hard cash and all of them lost! (I think that says more about me than Jake 🤔)
I’m going to try and bookend the month with David Menuisier winners. It’s Belloccio in the 16.35 at Longchamp for me today.
Mahanakhon 3.05 Wetherby is today's nap, well done yesterday Alan for preventing a whitewash.(Ithink you were the only one)
Vadeni. 14.50. ParisLongchamp.
Not sure how the French Air Traffic Controller Strikes will effect placement of UK and Irish trained Horses across Europe and indeed beyond (crossing French Air Space).
I would say Bay Bridge might get home before the witching hour but I am in France right now and know that I can't return home unless I redirect to fly via Timbuktu and will otherwise be sacked on Tuesday.
I don't think Ballydoyle will be using the Rosslare to Cherbourg Ferry for the big Races coming up in ParisLongchamp and Chantilly.
