Unless I've missed something, just Luke with a Saturday winner, Kitty's Light - well done. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
Many thanks for the good wishes. Just got back from Ayr. Didn't watch a race through as I was mainly there to get pictures of some of the top southern racing folk to use on my blog. I was happy with those I got. It was a brilliant atmosphere, and contrary to gloomy reports about 18-24 youngsters being turned off by racing, they seemed far and away he biggest cohort today.

It's interesting though ,I've never had hay fever as bad as I've copped it this year and I know several trainers strings have been badly affected by the rape seed crops.
Trainer left with 'no choice' but to move string of 36 horses due to rapeseed oil danger. Point-to-point trainer Harley Dunne has been forced to relocate his stable of horses from Clonroche, County Wexford to a field 20 minutes away due to the effect a rapeseed oil crop has had at his original yard. Speaking of the difficulties facing the yard due to the crop, Dunne said: "There’s about 150 to 200 acres of rapeseed oil crop at our yard. I had problems with it last last year but thank God it was near the end of the season so we were able to just stop. I’ve ridden loads of horses for other trainers who have also had a crop near them and it’s a big problem.
Minelladestination wins at 5/1.
Excellent ride from young Peter Kavanagh to get that moody mare home. That 5lb claim could be very useful in one of those decent summer handicaps at Market Rasen or Uttoxeter.
Linda Moon won at 100/30
Kim Eyre 4.15 Stratford won SP 4/1.
NAP Scherbobalob 4.45 Stratford

I was living in hope on Saturday that my longshot could place or the double I'd stuck on a winner with Chaldean would come in. The longshot came 4th, the bet to 3 places and Frankie did a version of his flying dismount unusually at the start. FFS but you have to take the rough with the smooth. I did my balances later and was pleasantly surprised that 365 had treated Chaldean as a void bet and paid me in bet credits on the winner. Beyond the call of duty I say, well done them and thank you very much.
Nap Plump 1530 Tip Top Mountain
Only 3 opponents, what could possibly go wrong?
Linda Moon 5.00P nap today on slim pickings...
Yip. Ayr Grand National brings out thousands of well dressed youngsters. Girls done up to looki
their best and guys all suited and booted. Its a great excuse to roll out the finery and they bet and enjoy the racing in my experience.
Met some lovely folk on days out there.
Todays nap is an old friend I'm picking in hope rather than expectation.
Montys award. Plum 3 pm each way
Dire stuff today.
Only one horse interested me in a betting sense ( Andapa ). That's a non runner, so I'll take a chance on Pilbara. Plumpton 4.30.
Broadoak 14:45 Stratford EW Nap
(I don’t think it does but) Greatness Awaits in the 14.30 at Plumpton is today’s selection.
Rural youngsters like hunting and racing. Go to any Point to Point and its full of them ,same at Young Farmers meetings and Farm supplies outlets. My 6 grandkids who live in the sticks love horses and are mad about racing. The 4 who live in central Bristol wouldn't know a thing about it. The BHA are wasting money hand over fist on these projects and staffing a diversity department rather than getting stuck into the core issues like staff shortages and to much racing. The latter is stretching the former to breaking point. Accidents have happened and more will.
Harrington is out of her depth, all the talk,no action.
Andapa 3.00 Plumpton is today's nap, well done yesterday Luke.
