Well done chaps , brilliant results for you today.
Tim Donworths Ocean Vision finished a 3rd in the G2 at Chantilly picking up over 16k in the G2. Ran way above his best.
Part time Greg would give his right arm and left leg for these tips , deep in the relegation zone in the RP naps table ,4th from bottom showing over 70 quid level stake loss. On the Daily selections he's showing the highest overall losses as well ,over a 100 quid ,double anyone else almost .
Some of his lines about times defy logic.
Thought the headline that Frankie fell off was a bit thick of whoever put that on. Try staying aboard when one pitches like that with you at nearly 40mph.
Wow! What a nap. Pleased to say I took your advice and put it in my ew lucky 15. It was the only winner but combined with a couple of decent priced placers it gave a good return. Cheers!🍻
Shocking stupidity on my part for not avoiding the Cesarewitch. Nap Evaluation ew 15:40 at Newmarket.
Ignoring the poison of Twitter, there are some really good accounts. One of these is "History of Horse Racing" and in the last week have been showing a lot of Dewhurst races from the last 60 years with some memorable names showing up - Nijinsky, Mill Reef, Grundy, The Minstrel, Storm Bird. EGS (who beat Rainbow Quest), Generous to name a few. Also found segments of (I assume) a documentary about Nijinsky narrated by someone called Orson Welles. Wondering if Welles had any major successes in his life as he had an excellent speaking voice. Probably advert voiceovers would have been a good choice.
I know of lot of good horses won after 1990 e.g. Frankel, but having left the UK, I didn't really follow racing until 2018 when off track pari mutuel betting was available to me.
Ha! Welles's influence on Touch of Evil as well as his performance (indeed he actually directed, too) made it a great Expressionist film noir. He revelled in pushing boundaries and no doubt had a massive ego, but the opening sequence alone (over six minutes) was and is a cinematographic tour de force.
Shocking cowardice on my part for avoiding the Cesarewitch. However, every time I go through the line-up, I end up picking a different horse. I backed Vino Victrix earlier in the week, I defected to Call My Bluff yesterday, and today I’m with our esteemed judge regarding the chances of Author’s Dream at a huge price.
