Four Friday winners - well done, with a special mention for Highflying for that 18/1 cracker. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
Sixfiveseven being led out at Cholet this morning.
I hope I've uploaded this properly for you to see what a lovely big lad he's developing into. It will be next year before he's fully furnished into the animal I thought he would end up looking when I first saw him at his breeders stud farm as a yearling.
Today ? ,he's doing his best ,I've no idea about the opposition but this is another small step into developing him .Unfortunately Demuro is in Japan so he's being ridden by Coralie Pacaut whose ridden 40 winners this year, rides out for Tim regularly and Rouget who gives her plenty of rides . She knows the horse which is a plus and we gain the 3 female riders allowance .
No,im not betting him, that day will come when I'm 100% sure. I can't get a handle on the opposition and he's still growing into himself.
Remember when new cars had that sticker in the rear window " running in " . This applies to this lad. The engines not firing on all cylinders yet ,he's still growing and is weak and green. Plus he's a stayer in the making . He's very laid back so I wasn't bothered about that horses antics whereas my Mrs was shouting withdraw that horse before he catches Six.
Tim calls him my big baby and we are lucky to have a trainer who is old school in his approach to horses like Six. Every time I speak to him he raves about the horse and is just biding his time with him.
I've never sat on him but had a good lead of him as a yearling, the power came down the rein then, we just have to wait .
Yep, exactly . Drop in trip didn't help either. He's educated now without being pushed or hurt and he did come back after being passed as you saw under hands and heels.
If Tim had wired him up and we hammered him today there would not be a horse left for the future.
That's OK I suppose if you've got 100 or so and you are all about the day and the glory .
As Cold Stare 3.45 Doncaster won his race on his side of the track onTuesday I will nap him again.Well done yesterdays winners with top marks to Highflying.
My nap Stone Age came 2nd in the Breeders Cup Turf at Keeneland.

Pavlick was a pleasing winning nap at 12 to 1. Hedged my bets going EW but its a EW price so wont complain.

Well done to Highflying as 18/1 Winners are hard to find.
A good day for Ballydoyle and Godolphin at Keeneland and Elliot at Downpatrick and I think that trend will continue today.
I have gone down to 6 places in the Breeders Cup Turf at 21.40 on Stone Age but will accept the e.w. going rate at around 12/1.
