Technical Analysis in the Diana Stakes at Saratoga (22:03), one of 4 Chad Brown entries of 6 runners (5 of whom have top jockeys aboard).
Many years ago I drove up from NYC to Saratoga in my then car ( a VW Golf GTI 16V). A very pleasant drive up the Hudson Valley to a beautiful, but slightly rundown racetrack, The spectators were a real mix, ordinary people like me, many celebrities and near stars in attendance. However, the most curious sight was the American Upper Class at play, and realizing they are just as inbred as the English Upper Class. I guess you have to keep that old money in the family.
Two caught my eye in the Summer Plate - Mortlach, who jumped badly right at Aintree last time and should save a lot of ground going this way (comparatively, at least), and La Dominiale. I was really taken by this mare's last run, winning easily after making all. She looks very game and most enthusiastic. I see she is on the drift from 7s to 9s, but I won't desert her. Good luck.
Eddies Boy won 15/2
Ask Paddington won 9/4.
