Two profitable naps on Friday - well done. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
Saturday thoughts in the 2.45 Uttoxeter
Mister Coffey remains a maiden after 6 races over fences, but I believe that could change here at Uttoxeter. The 8-y-o is relatively unexposed. You’ll note his general consistency from his formline: 1/12/1374/32220-2 One of those seconds last season was in a Sandown Grade 1; the other in a Cheltenham Festival handicap, the Kim Muir.
He ran really well last time on his seasonal debut and this looks a solid chance for him to win. Trainer Henderson has said: “This horse has always wanted to do two things – one was to go three miles and the other was to go left-handed.” He gets both conditions here and seems a solid EW bet to that generous 4 places.
If something springs a surprise, it could be Venetia Williams’ runner (she has two here) Fuji Flight, who looks too big a price at 16/1 EW. His last three races last season saw the best 3 performances of his career on Racing Post Ratings, and he must have been expected to come on again in his seasonal debut at Bangor in November where he was well backed from 10/1 to 5/1. He disappointed there on heavy ground and was pulled up next time in testing ground at Ffos Las. His best performances have been on soft, though he has won on good, and run to form on good to soft – today’s forecast going.
He’s been dropped 4lbs for those runs, and Lucy Turner takes another 5 off. He’s not the most encouraging horse to watch, with his choppy action and occasional penchant for running in snatches, but all in all, at the price, I think and EW bet to 4 places, again with Bet365, is good value.
Good luck
Joe

Funambule Sivola won at 7/1.
Yorksea placed at 20/1.
Joe, I indulged in a spot of each way banditry & nicked a place at Dundalk yesterday- Jazz Dreamers in the 6.30 at 22/1.
The Betfair looks impossible but I'll have an ill informed punt on one of Gary Moore's:
Nap: 3.35 Newbury - Yorksea (each way).
As my nap is a NR I am entitled to a second chance under previous case law on this Forum. There is one minute to go in the 14.50 at Naas which is Sponsored by JP but he has no Runner.
I am going Clever Currency e.w. because it is "allegedly" how he made his fortune along with Poker Games.
Good sense going out the window in the chase to catch Rob this month - i didnt get past the first fence with my pick yesterday though to be fair that wasnt a big price but one from the tracker - unseated. Dorkiing Lad, who's turn will come again.
Todays i'm hoping the return to hurdles will suit PeeJaybee in the Uttoxeter 15.20. i'll go EW as could do with any cash at all to add to my paltry monthly sum.
Just realised I have napped the same horse as the runaway leader,a great tactical decision.
Tritonic 3.35 Newbury is todays nap, well done yesterdays winners.
Funambule Sivola - 15.00 Newbury
Restitution 15:35 New'B EW Nap
Icare Allen each way in the 15:35 at Newbury.
I see there are some top jockeys racing at Tampa Bay Downs (Tyler Gaffalione, the lesser Ortiz, Luis Saez to name a few).
I've not really seen a trainer more dejected on interview than when Charlie Longsden was asked about Rare Edition after he'd been beaten by Marble Sands. Crestfallen. Chapman gave reason for hope this morning when he said it scoped badly post race. The Betfair /Schweppes is another race I've a chequered history in but with the above in mind
Nap New 1535 Rubaud
I nibbled at 7s last night. I also backed Aucunrisque, the 18s to 6 places on offer at Betfair looked appealing and they said I could have £4.20p on rather than the sum I'd asked for so I'd to fill up elsewhere at 16s. For all that its not a big betting race for me.
I've got my beady on Barrier Peaks making a quick reappearance in the last at Uttox in the hope he drifts a bit.
Hartur D'oudairies 3.48W.
15.20 Uttoxeter - Fine Casting
Musaytir 4.50 Lingfield
The syndicates 5yo gelding ,(far side,)working with Cabrakan at Milton's on Wednesday morning ridden by Mitch Bastyn who is giving a stone away in weight. Cabrakan is just below the best juvenile hurdler class but has ran to 95 on the clock so I could not have been more pleased with the trial gallop.
Members will be getting the full video later this weekend.
2.45 Uttoxeter way finder e/w
Ew nap. Tritonic. Newbury 3.35.
I will do a one euro Stake e.w on Mister Coffey.
My other Bets today are both in the 14.15 at Naas in the JPR colours.
The Hunt Museum in Limerick has a strong claim to be the best outside of the Capital and the debutante cannot be casually named and is 100/1.
My nap is Raglan Road in the same Race at 5/2.
I don't know how to attach things like videos but the Luke Kelly version of Raglan Road is something.
The Lyrics are not a good portent for my nap.
'The Queen of Hearts still making Tarts and I am not making Hay'
'I saw the danger and I passed along the enchanted way and I said let grief be a fallen leaf at the dawning of the day'
It is my nap.
