Finally got the date right for the first time this week. Nice winner form Gforce yesterday at 6/1 - well done. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
Aint life just a box of chocolates, there are plenty I like today which is usually expensive on a Saturday. I looked down my list and most are a bit obvious though Alan has, I hope, picked a really good nap.
I'll throw a curved ball
Nap 1330 Deauville Gaenari
up against World of Darcy who you may remember was the only one to nearly give Elite Status a race in the National. The form is a bit mixed though a few have won since. The Breeze Up King, about whom I know nothing, picked this one when interviewed after his horse had duffed one of mine tother day. Ran in a G2 last time so 4s seemed decent and I suspect it will drift, prob about 33s on the PMU. Another worth a second glance is Amusement in the 1440
You were a little unlucky there. Gaenari was slow out of the traps and which is not ideal over a bit under under 5f at Deauville. He ran on well at the death but the Boughey horse was tooprofessional to blow this one.
Here's an interesting piece from last year about Diego Dias.
Don't know why I keep putting tips up this week at Goodwood as it has been really difficult given the ever changing going..( apart from the first days tip)..anyway here we go again...
Two Aulld pals wins at 9 to 4
Oh well, Monsieur Kodi in EW double with Mr Wagyu, but again Goodwood was a loss for me. Seeemed to get brutal for my selections in 3.00!
Goodwood abandoned after the Stewards Cup so I'm going to have to burden some other noble beast with the deadweight of my selection.
Hamilton 7.30 - Tajalla
A good day for favourite backers at Galway. Even returns of 1/4 add up in multiples.
Mon Coeur won the 17.25 at 2/1 who was my nap.
Sweet William won 9/4
Julys flurry of winners doesnt seem to have carried into the new Month. Goodwood hasnt been good for naps table!
Goodwood 5.20 Liberty Lane
God only knows what the ground will be like come 5 o’clock – getting the excuses in early.
Mums Tipple ew in the 15:35 at Miserable Goodwood.
Mr. Wagyu 3.35 GoodW nap
I've picked out a few shorties today, this is the biggest price one - mind you my form ain't good.
Sterling Knight E/W 3.35Gd.
Climate Friendly 2.40 Newmarket
Bugs Moran - 14.30 Galway

I hope he enjoyed that pint. I never put my Passport on the table at Airports but keep it firmly attached to me.
At least he got to see Saratoga which is supposed to be nice.
When Trainers go to Saratoga for that meeting they usually attend the big Sale on Monday/Tuesday.
Killing 2 Birds with one Stone.
It must be disappointing that he hasn't the profile yet for big owners to hand him an huge budget to buy what he fancies at that Sale.
SummerGhand. Good 3.35 ew.
News on Prince Imperial. Baffled !
Couple of videos from this morning ,Uggy not happy in behind.
NAP Luisa Casati 3.00 Goodwood.
