No winners reported on Friday, but let me know if I've missed something.
My Grand National EW hopes are with Corach Rambler, The Big Breakaway, Cloudy Glen, Ain't That A Shame, Mister Coffey, and Hill Sixteen. My nap is Hill Sixteen, win only. Good luck all
Joe
My comment on Guardianista got removed, I think after the tread got deleted, just got blocked from posting as well....
Rogue Sea won at 9/1. My national record was maintained .
Spirit d'aunou won evens.
Sire Du berlais!
Aintree 2.25 – Bardenstown Lad (each way). The last chance saloon for this fella - I mean it this time.
Dilton, that Nicholls horse than you ran Uggy Uggy Uggy against goes in today’s Aintree bumper. Centara - up against 2 of Willie’s.
I strangely have luck in the GN with Grittar, Rhyme 'N Reason, Red Marauder (from a free 1 pound bet cut out from a Red top at 50/1) and Noble Yeats.
I don't like the Race and haven't watched it in years.
I am told there is less organised mayhem but the likelihood of a fatality is too high for my liking.
Not just a fatality but the percentage of Runners who experience the trauma of falling.
I am with GForce in thinking Galvin but my nap is Dashel Drasher in the 15.35. Aintree. To cure the painful condition of seconditis
My GN record is pretty woeful. Will pick something later ..too many options. Nap is Outlaw Peter Aintree 2.25 ew
Good luck to everyone with their GN bets.
Racing at Yarmouth on a Saturday. Earth has fallen off its axis.
Charlie's Choice in the 14:45 at Yarmouth.
Another one for Coko Beach. Sorry amtrakker.
Coko Beach in the Grand National
I thought I did ok on the National until I looked back in more detail and found I’ve only backed the winner three times in 36 years! I do tend to regularly get placed horses so I suspect that’s why I believed I had a decent record. I’m going for Mister Coffey this year and he’s my each way selection today. (Given his current form I’ll also be having a bit on Jake’s fancy in the race!😁)
Capodanno 5.15A is my win nap.
I used to have a decent record in the Grand National, but the last few years my bets have been rubbish - probably as the complexion of the race has changed significantly, and the trends I used to narrow down the field just don't seem to work anymore.
Bertie's Ballet 18:20 Aintree EW Nap
I'm patchy in the National. Not long ago I'd the 1st 3 over the last and the best I got was 4th!
Nap Galvin
So far I've also done Corach Rambler as his price is OK now and Capodanno. I'll back another just deciding if I can find one that runs up with the pace as the way they are talking there will be a big bunch running in rear.
Spirit D'anou 4.52Ch.
Itchy feet. Aintree 2.25, is the nap. Best of luck to all !
Meet And Greet 3.35 Aintree is the nap.
The best way to describe my national record would be very modest,my pin has landed on Le Milos ,good luck all.
The last time I backed the winner of the GN was Red Rum so I'll try somewhere else for a NAP.
Bardenstown Lad 2.25 Aintree, 16/1 at the moment. John C McConnell and Ben Harvey. McConnell has had 50 winners in the UK, he loves coming over on a raid from Ireland. They had a winner yesterday (Fennor Cross, 8/1) and a big priced winner at Cheltenham. Perhaps he's used up all his luck, we'll see.
Good luck to all finding the winner to the GN.
I have a terrible record in the grand national so my nap is in 2.45 Yarmouth rogue sea.
