Well done to Leo, who saved the blushes for the blog and spared us a blank weekend. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
Below, the totals as we enter the final week of September.
This is totally bonkers that you should put your entire investment into a horse:
One such investor contacted the Guardian a few weeks ago. “Quite frankly, the situation is making me ill,” she said. “My plans for a tranquil retirement have gone up in smoke. I am not wealthy. My state pension covers my rent and I invested my share of the proceeds of the sale of the family home, upon my mother’s death, so that I would have a monthly income sufficient to cover bills and general expenses. I am now in danger of losing my home [and] if I lose this house, I won’t have access to funds to rent another.”
Am I missing something? Love the sport, but invest everything into it??
Yay Uggy! Looked different class ridden prominently at that trip, helping make best use of that spring loaded hurdling technique. The happiest I've seen him coming around bends and a good decision by Bradley to bring him wide around the last one. Might two miles be his optimum?

W: 6.30 - Next Second
Speedacus wins at 5/1
I backed at 13/2 with a Rule 4 20p deduction. Blazed forward, was headed by a 50/1 shot but fought back by a head.
It's a Monday, so don't usually bet, but I did have a tiny EW double with Uggy Uggy Uggy.
Wish I'd bet more more, but a lovely, unexpected result :D
An emphatic win and once I saw his Buckin' Bronco act in the Ring I knew he was up for it.
Tangovictoriaindia makes a good point that Bradley Harris went wide to ensure he kept his Rythmm rather than save ground by going tighter.
Of Course his H'Cap rating is now a problem but I am sure the Stable will have learnt lessons today
Wheres Jeff wins @ 9/2.
Great to see Uggy bounding home over the last furlong, thoroughly enjoying it...and I went against him, what an idiot.
What a lovely run from Uggyx3, and nice to see a couple of familiar faces in the winners enclosure :D
Great stuff!
