Two points of interest at Worcester so far. First, Clear The Runway continues his march through the ranks with an effortless 10-length victory in the feature race. He's risen from a rating of 98 to 135 and will get another five or six pounds for this win. This horse was unable to win between the flags in Ireland but was snapped up privately for 35k euros by Laura Morgan - excellent value in this day and age. He's now won seven races this calendar year and about 40k in win prize money alone. Laura Morgan is a real talent. Last season was her best ever with 34 winners and she's already halfway to beating that total in 2022-23. She is definitely one to have on your side this winter.
The second race of interest was the bumper. There was an unusually strong betting market for a race of this class with a field of unexposed youngsters. But connections knew what they had and the right horses crossed the line in the first four. The well-backed winner Genovese got up to beat the long-time leader Soldat Forte under a determined ride by Sean Bowen. As a son of the Irish Leger winner Sans Frontieres he looks all stamina. The form looks sound and should be followed.
Trillium was a good winner yesterday but my concluding thought, essentially borne out of my empty pocket, is that if Orr had another go, he wouldn't apply the brakes as much as he did. Holly was much better in the Nunthorpe.
I'd 3 for today and 2 are already non runners, which leaves
My e.w. nap Glounthaune came 2nd on Saturday in the 14.20 at Leopardstown at 40/1.
I was going to nap Galleria Borghese who came 2nd yesterday at 66/1 but changed my mind at the last minute for Emily Dickinson who failed to place by a head.
Lethal angel won 7/4.
Deputy won at 5/2.

Anyone already on Supersuperjack or thinking of backing him for the Ces ,bad news I'm afraid. Hes had a setback at home and is out for the year .
