Two Sunday winners via Gaz and Alan - well done. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
New Site
The domain name talkinghorses.pro is available and will come free with an an annual plan from WordPress, one of the biggest names in hosting. They have several plans at different prices. To have a site with a forum looks like costing £240 a year. A potential advantage of having a full site (the forum would be the key part) allows us scope to add other things. I've always been keen on setting up tutorials to take potential fans all the way from greenhorns to experts in racing and betting; I think this could play a part and also earn enough to at least pay the annual costs. We might well get a profit out of it if plans work out. The biggest bonus with WordPress is their support via their Happiness Engineers - it's way ahead of any other organisation I've experienced, and this is important to me, as I can just about build a website, but am useless at solving tech problems.
There'd be room too for guest blogs from members who felt that way inclined - we might even be posh and call the blog posts Op Eds. There'll be other stuff too, I'm sure, not least a section dedicated to the syndicates run by Paul and Dilton. I'd quite like to do this on a founder member basis, with founder members sharing the annual costs until we see if we can make enough to pay its way. If you don't fancy being a founder member, that's fine; nothing will change for you, as I envisage the site always being open to the public as it is now. I would still make day to day editorial decisions, but any significant decisions for the site and its future (including editorials) would always be put to the vote among founder members. Should we make a profit at any level, the founder members would share it equally or, if it's relatively small, vote on a charity to donate to. I would see no need to add more members beyond the founders, but we can discuss that and any other issues/ideas that come up.
Just reply to this post separately from your nap post if you would like to be a founder member. I'm happy too to hear any other ideas on a new structure.

more than happy to contribute so I'm in Joe 👍🏻 thanks for work so far !
Yep, Joe.
The acrid stench of burnt fingers is hanging over Newton Abbot after the 4/9 favourite in the bumper was beaten. Fergal O'Brien had a fine record in bumpers last season but he's not a magician - and Anthony Honeyball's record over the years is up there with the best.. The filly had never seen a racecourse before and she hadn't a clue - the punters ignored the obvious. This is why experience is key when the money is down, and point to point experience is invaluable for these young bumper horses.
Count me in as well
Call Me Rocky won as he liked at Newton Abbot, to give Milton his 19th winner of the season. He is second only to Fergal O'Brien in terms of winners, 4th in prize money. Well done to the whole team.
I'll be up for it.
A sure welcome. Windsor 7.10.

Windsor 7.10 - Mojomaker
When I lived in West London I used to visit 'Royal' Windsor at least twice a season. Inflated prices, supercilllious staff and, without question, my worst track for backing a winner. I don't think I've ever selected a winner at the place. Only one place to look today then...
Count me in for the new site Joe.
