Miss Fairfax obliges at a cramped 4 to 9. Was hoping it might stay close to the 8 to 11 backed at this morning but couldn't see much else to nap today.
Without wishing to steal Harry's thunder on bumpers, I wish to point out Monaghan Boy in the last at Catterick in a few minutes is a close relation of Cruchain formerly trained by my man Dai and a horse who liked turning left. Makes Monaghan nap material me thinks.
Cillians Charm has attracted plenty of cash in what looks a competitive Catterick bumper. Now with Anthony McCann, he was sent by Andy Slattery to Moira last October for his sole run in PTPs, and ran a fine race in a close second behind a nice type called Bold Reaction. That horse was snapped up by Nicky Henderson and he has already shown the value of the point form when a runner-up at Doncaster recently, just pipped by the surprise package among the northern bumper ranks this winter, Prairie Wolf of Sue Smith's. McCann is not known as a jumps trainer but has had a bit of success at Dundalk. He may not have known how strong the competition would be from the home contingent though, with Jamie Snowden's You Wear It Well being well backed when runner-up to the smart Mullenbeg on debut, while the in-form Charlie Longsdon enters Stroll On By who has run respectable seconds twice. He was a very short price favourite for his Carlisle debut, and then ran into one in the shape of Grove Road at Sedgefield. Brian Hughes sticks with him today. I'm sticking with that solid point form of Cillians Charm.
Bit late to the party - damn you work! - so limited choices; I'll have an EW NAP on Ruby's Reward for Honeyball in the 1640 @ Plumpton (7/1 ish). For betting purposes I'll cover his other runner in the same race.
@Harrytheactor Saturday Sports Report was always fantastic when Stuart had a game. I can remember rocking with laughter at one interview he had with Kevin Keegan.

Ouch! Even though I am Irish I know that last sentence is unacceptable and wish to retract it.
Joe, make sure you put down my nap in the 14.50 at Naas at on 12th of February called Goven as I know my rights.
I am torn today between the 14.40 and 15.15 at Catterick.
I am equally torn between Kannoplis and Nietzsche in the 14.40 and will probably do an e.w. double on that Race.
I once worked with a colleague who had serious Publications on Nietzsche and spent her Holidays following his trail. What a way to spend a Holiday?
I never had the courage to tell her when she was talking to me that she had 2 heads as she innocently believed I was listening.
I am going for the latter Race.
We all need Winter Comfort Food at this time of year and The Paddy Pie in the 15.15 is my nap.
