Sunday winners for David and Gforce and another for the bang in form JD - well done all. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
It's been a right old struggle this month. I had a decent start to the flat season and then it all started to go awry when the ground turned. I’m maintaining the same approach that’s yielded a decent profit in recent seasons, but I reckon it might need a tweak. So, when in doubt go for a class6 on the AW. Â
No pressure on my 2 cats to continue their run of 4 profitable selections in the past 5 days (the only loser was 2nd), but they've ignored my only tracker for the day having picked one the past 5 days. Despite this upturn in affairs, EGS & Alan slayed the rest of us on the first day of the month.
The hairball has landed on Ceilidh in the 16:25 at Brighton (form reads 580-533739)
David has picked a tracker I really like. While Sir T seems to be improving at 9, he is on an all time high rating. Al Z is also on a jumps high but compared with his rating on the flat still has about 14lbs to find. Not an exact science but fences seem to have revitalised him.
There's a good little sprint at
Catterick Nap 1610 Soul Seeker
horse and trainer in splendid form and a top claimer, what's not to like?
That's 4 winners in 5 days for JD and there is an argument for all of us to concede this month's competition to preserve our dignity as if we ever had it.
Monday Racecards.
Roscommon are actually running tomorrow and not today.
Optiva Star won at 100/30
Catchup winner from Saturday. WobWobWon was 3rd at 5-1 for EW nap
Lingfield 7.50 - Imperiousity

Well done JD. It seems the secret to picking winners in the UK is to live in the USA!
I'm employing different tactics today. The selection is Zachary in the 14.05 at Brighton.
Reasons:
Gelded since last run.
This is a low grade nursery.
Trainer is in form.
A friend is in the (huge) syndicate that owns the horse. He therefore has about 200 hairs.
It's the first race of the day so the pain is over quickly.
I liked Lost In Space.
Er, that's it.
NAP The Bomber Liston, 6.05 Bangor on Dee. Nicky, Nico, JP and hasn't won in nearly 2 years. What's not to like?
