Nap Kelso 1740 Northern Cardinal
In the big debate of tail wagging dog as I don't get why so much attention is paid to loud mouths while thousands who also turned up to watch are effectively discounted the argument eg given by Brough in today's Times is that horses don't have a choice. I don't agree with that as plenty I have seen have their own ideas about what they are going to do.
I assume those in charge at the BHA are too busy planning their daily buffet menu to go onto the airwaves, but what the hell, leave it to an extremely erudite gentleman from Tipperary to defend racing,
Mr Wood posted another "article" on the Grand National yesterday at 17.25...........the big headline was:-
"This Grand National was an unsettling spectacle for many inside racing's bubble".
The smaller sub headline was:-
"Protests, a chaotic race and the RSPCA's response will cut through to the viewing public more than safety statistics".
No comments were allowed, a pity as I would have been banned/gaoled for life!! Maybe I will comment on one of "columnist" Mr Adrian Viner's "columns"........................
