Tempting to pick a Hughes ride as he could easily have a treble today. Is there a reason for McCain having such a consistently wonderful season? December was poor by his standards so far as he 'only' had a 20% win rate. I know he gets plenty of support from Graham Leslie but hasn't that been the case for a while? Perhaps he's just sourcing better horses from Ireland.
Tim Leslie? One of the good guys. He stood by The Don when so many owners behaved like lemmings (I'm looking at you, Mr and Mrs Rooney) and took their horses away. Don was extremely frank and open about what had gone wrong, knuckled down and is reaping the benefits. He's on track to have his best season for ten years and has rediscovered the knack of racking up multiple wins with individual horses, just like the good old days. A very good yard to follow.
Mhemas sired 2 winners 1 second 1 loser ..not bad.
I lost last night in usa.

My thanks to toforu's santa anita tip last night, remembered to get on late & don't often wake up happy to the alarm Monday.
Not very imaginative, but the Brian Hughes ridden Bavington Bob in the 16:05 at Carlisle. Probably his only losing ride of the day.
Very nice ride by the jockey on toforu's selection BARAZA at Santa Anita last night. Patiently held up, moved wide in the straight and took the piss.
