A good day yesterday. Well done JD, Leo, David, Robicheaux and Pebbles. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.
Snake Roll jumped superbly until a slight error at the first ditch. Came up way too early three out in a fatal fall. So sad. On a more positive note the winner looks pretty smart and won with a fair bit in hand having jumped the last like a fresh horse.
Champion Stakes
Point Lonsdale looks much too big at 66/1 (Bet365). O'Brien and Moore, 1 from 1 on heavy, 3 from 3 on soft. Beaten under 4 lengths last time on unfavourable ground (Irish Champion Stakes)

This is how I spend my Friday nights nowadays.
I see that UUU is entered in a race on Monday. Has there been a change of plan or is it a precautionary entry?
My nap Londoner came 2nd in the 17.45 at Dundalk
I specified e.w
I was expecting better than 6/1
You have posted 2 Questions.
One of my 4 Professional Registered Bodies have their HQ in Prescott Street and there is no Cockney Accent in that street anymore. It is just Budget Hotels and convenient for me when I need to do blah, blah, blah.
I get out off Tower Gateway.
I am certain that that the Irish Raider will win the American National Salvador Ziggy but he won't be nap tomorrow
John Kirkup 3.20 Redcar won SP 11/2.There is a good chance anyone wishing to see Halley's comet should look outside after dark tonight as it may well appear to coincide with my first winning nap for a while.
Three horses who will enjoy testing ground conditions at Ascot on Champions Day....could be of interest..

NAP Knockmore Prince 6.45 Dundalk.
My last 2 NAPS have finished last and Pulled Up. Not sure I can better that, but I'll try.
Can't find much in the formbook for horse's that perform well in 50 mph winds...
Bobby Joe Legg 19:30 New'c EW Nap.
Not a believer in lightning striking the same place twice, am going to ignore previously winning shock nap Loom Large and instead selecting Asmund EW in the 16:30 at Redcar.
Four days ago Frankie was assuring us that tomorrow was absolutely his last day riding in Britain. Today the man who knows him better than anyone, his weighing room colleague and former agent Rae Cochrane, begs to differ: “Don’t be thinking that he won’t be back here, he’ll be back at the drop of a hat to ride in all the big races . . . I’d imagine he’ll be here for the Guineas, the Oaks, the Derby, Royal Ascot, the King George and every other big race he can get a good ride in." And on we go with the circus.
Dundalk 6.15 – What A Squeeze (each way)
Is that a cliff I see before me? This is absolutely the last chance saloon for this one. The stable had very high hopes of this half-sister to Jack Naylor before the start of the season. She must be a hell of a horse on the gallops. They certainly wouldn’t have expected her to be contesting a Dundalk nursery in October. I can only think they’re getting her ready for 0-70 handicaps on the beach at Laytown next season?

Jkr cobbler 4.30R.
Sadly logged on a bit late and missed the price on PL, but 33s is still fine. Lissen must have a stable with a few options for the race and sends just this one. Before now we have said a solo strategy was 'a sign'.
Sad about Snake Roll, looked a lovely vibrant horse enjoying himself racing enthusiastically in the van.
Todays nap should be to pick a meeting to take place. The N E weather has been awful and more storms forecast. Over 50mph winds at Redcar easing to about 45mph for Newcastle. We need warhorses! Hoping
Nap Red 1555 Jonny Ringo
is tough. Horsebox driver prob deserves a gold star just for getting to the course. Rossa riding for Lucinda can't happen very often.
