It was a memorable moment to see the Talking Horses silks parading and then flying around the course at Compiegne on Sixfiveseven with no little distinction for a first competitive event. Look forward to the report.
I thought it was a great first run - exceeded expectations id have thought and looks a cracker. Had every chance 1 out and with more experience could easily have won. Very enjoyable and worth the wait!
Let's hope Six is sound after a very impressive performance! Fancy he may have held on with rail to run against, but that was a great first run to my eye.
Bit green, but looks to have pace. Impressive first race with an exciting end. Thanks and a big well done to Tim and his team. And on a personal note £1.30 profit on my e/w bet. Happy days.
Im going to go for Kap Auteil in a tight looking chase at Fakenham - 2.05, likeable horse reminded to me by my tracker.
.My tracker through up a 28 to 1 winner yesterday which i neither backed nor napped ( my tracker as ive mentioned is over stuffed and throws up too many horses for my general liking so they dont get proper respect). i dont think its after timing if you dont bet it......
As I wrote in yesterday's thread, I did back it as it was tipped by Paul Kealy. I have taken to dividing my ew bets in half one at SP and the other at Skybet's odds at the time. So it was 20-1 Skybet and 28-1 SP. But a win like that is a rare thing for me and I am well down on the bookie this year. Sorry you did not back it. :-(
Syndicate update for Sixfiveseven .
Tim has gone as far as he can with Six at home ,he needs to run. Unlike breeze up types who have galloped at the tracks in public, fully wired up prior to sale, the horse is raw and will benefit from expirencing the sight sounds and bustle of battle without being knocked about, that's the plan. We just want him home safe and to have enjoyed the day and learnt something.
He's not being " stopped " . He's doing his best as his condition allows ,if he blows up he will be looked after.
This today is all about the long term to produce a dual purpose staying horse for both codes .
It's not about the result wherever he finishes .
Tim really likes the horse and the fact Demuro is riding him enforces that. He's more choosy on what he rides than my Mrs in Marks and Sparks.
I’m tempted to go for a double with Shetland Bus and Lerwick but instead will nap Kinondo Kwetu in the 13.49 at Uttoxeter. This fellow should be followed until beaten and although raised another 7lbs today, I believe he’s up to it.
Looking forward to seeing Sixfiveseven make his debut and hoping he runs well. Good luck to the owners.
After a few days away in the Scottish Highlands I feel I may need to play a bit of catch up already! Rockonmecca nap (Redcar, 13:59). Although, let's be fair, all eyes are on France today. Come on six!!!
Cold Stare 2.50 Haydock is the nap, well done yesterdays winners.I have just realised I have a dental appointment at 12 noon so will miss seeing Six's first run.
France Galop is a fab free service. You can't get any live races from the UK gambling sites when in Europe.
"France Galop is a non-profit organisation that manages and controls the thoroughbred horse racing industry in France.
The organisation’s budget is provided for the most part by a levy from the some 9 billion euros from betting on horse racing that takes place in France each year. In 2021, this amounted to a total of €433 million. France Galop and its trotting counterpart Le Trot co-own the PMU, Europe’s number one betting operator on racing."
I use Express VPN , there's a monthly subscription and currently a 30 day free trial. Set the location to UK in the app and you can watch what you like worldwide , including Betfair and the other bookies sites.
