No winners on Thursday..
Delighted to confirm David as the November Naps Champion, following up his victory in February.Very well done. Alan, Pebbles and Luke put up a strong fight, all three ending the month in profit. The totals are in this table, and the full daily results can be seen on the November Naps Spreadsheet.

Blazing Son wins at 11/4
Empire Steel 28/1 4 places seems like a good bet to me
Shake em up Harry won at 16 to 5.
Evidence of moderation going on there, Joe. Shades of the Guardian?
Hugo wins at a paltry 13/8.
Congratulations David and to the other podium members.
Blazing Son in the 19:15 at Newcastle (not that far from Consett)
NAP Dalvey 7.30 Dundalk.
Congratulations to David, very well done.
We all know Harry Fry likes to dine at the top table but he is very much at home below the salt too. He's just banged in a double with other people's castoffs at Sedgefield, both owned by the same syndicate who will have had a good day with their doubles. The most famous example of this skill of Harry's is Unowhatimeanharry. He bought this 125- rated rogue who had just pulled up in a class 5 handicap and then sent him on a winning spree (10 wins in 11 outings) right up to Grade 1 level and champion stayer status. A very clever man.
NAP: Newcastle 4.45 – First Folio
Well done David and fair play to the chasing pack.
Many congratulations to David for yet another good month of selections. An old colleague used to say, “if at first you don’t succeed, give up!” I’ll continue to ignore his advice and press on, although my pick today has already been selected by…..David! As I don’t wish to jinx him I’ll go for another of BP’s runners, Galahad Threepwood in the 15.30 at Sandown. I’ll be there tomorrow for the Tingle Creek and hopefully this lad will provide me with a bit of extra spending.
Lallygag 2.00E nap for me.
Congrats to David and the near challengers.
I'll add my congratulations to David.
I sympathise with the Germans - almost an oxymoron - but a generation was scarred by 66 and now a new Gen Z will be scarred by VAR. The stills I've looked are inconclusive and not from an inline angle which to me means there was a subjective element to the decision. Plus its a white line and if players have stood on it then the line could have been marginally widened by flattening the grass. Unlike racing which has a finishing line so the result can be decided down to a pixel and there can be no possible controversy. Rather fittingly racing is at Sandown. When is a finishing line not a finishing line? You know the answer. When its at........
Nap Sandown 1420 Maximillian
McCain really rates this one so today I suppose he'll find out as it looks a very good race.
I reckon Gelino Bello is a certainty today. 2 horse race, what could possibly go wrong?
Well done David ,keeping off the shorties works wonders .
Congrats David.
Today's nap is 12.30 Sedgefield - Spot on Soph
Hugos new horse, in the last at Sandown.
Well done David !
Thanks for the congratulations, nice to ensure a return to the Betfair Suite.
My last visit I rather overindulged on the rich food and the vintage port bringing on a minor bout of Gout.
This month I’ll stick to Champagne which is less rich but no less expensive.
The main task is of course getting to ensure I stay there for January as it’s generally a miserable month.
To that end today’s nap is SHAKEM UP'ARRY in the Exeter 14.35
Well done David. Four hundred profit for a month, that's a hundred a week. That'll keep you in beer and skittles.
I'm a bear of very little brain, I accept that, so I'm struggling to understand Milan Bridge's BHA rating of 126. That was his mark when he ran second over hurdles at Aintree to the 132-rated Remastered, beaten 4 lengths. Then he walked over on his fencing debut; his chase mark that day was 132 and he was due to run from 6lb out of the handicap. That race was a limited handicap and he had to be a certain weight difference from the top-rated Quel Destin who was on 145 I believe. Today he runs off 126 - the same as his hurdles mark - which means had he remained over hurdles they wouldn't have given him a higher mark for that excellent run at Aintree. Ergo, he is very well handicapped under both codes.
Am I boring you?
Well done David.
I promise I have cleaned up the Jacuzzi after me (well not me. The Handmaidens did it). The Dom Perignon Champagne Fountain on your right is working fine.
There was an issue about the supply of Lark's Tongues but I believe that is sorted.
Sit back and be waited upon hand and feet for December courtesy of Betfair.
Aces Wild. 19.00. Dundalk is my nap.
Ballyare 18:15 New’c Ew Nap…..Congrats and well done David.
Milan Bridge 1.45 Sandown. Congratulations to David and those in profit.
