I made a small profit on my Saffie bets last night but my, on several she didn't win on she was so slow from the gate she made Frank look electric. This judgement may have coloured by how Crowley rode my nap. He walked out of the stalls and was held tight. Not off from where I was looking, given an educational ride from the other side or ensuring hcp rating will be workable. Anyway Saffie needs to have a talk with Holly about setting off.

who seems on the improv. I was going to put up Beveragino at Haydock but its a bit short when you trainling behind.
I'm surprised a few of these young jockeys don't come over to the USA to ride during the winter. They would have to learn pretty quickly how to break with the pace. i know of someone in Tampa who could put up a couple of jockeys for a few weeks at a reasonable rent.
Surely a winter riding in Florida beats riding at Wolverhampton and Southwell.
I suspect there is a pretty strong correlation between number of meetings and number of winning naps. Saturday never seems a great day and days like these when there are more than you can count without involving both hands are similar. Too much to really look at unless your tracker throws something up.....
I'll go to Musselborough where Jim Goldie is almost sure to get a winner - lets hope its Tafsir in the 3.20.
Given how this month is going I need divine inspiration...
St Lukes Chelsea EW 4.49 New
Why did I pick it? (hint: I'm not a Chelsea fan :P)
Apart from the name, Ralph Beckett is in good form, 25% on this track and 20% with two year olds. May just be there to keep Qirat company and first run was poor though!
It is am amazing atmosphere and only 100 yards away from my House. My Brother is big in to him.
My son attended the attached National School 10 yards down from the Church as there is little scope for Aethiests to enrol in anywhere but a Faith School in Ireland
I followed him - and mentioned him - on John Kiely's bumper horses last season, the best of which were the brilliant A Dream To Share and Gaillimh A Run. He's worth following especially in bumpers where he has a 23% strike rate, whilehis strikerate overall for flat and NH is over 20%. I wonder if he'll turn pro this season.
Deepone won a very good maiden at Leopardstown in May and danced home at Killarney at odds of 1/6. A literal interpretation of his Leopardstown win over Spanish Flame would put him a couple of lengths ahead of Bremen. While he’s undoubtedly talented, Donaccha O’Brien’s handsome colt is regally bred and looks to have loads of scope – the world at his hooves. I’ve got these two down as way ahead of the field and I reckon it could be a lot closer than the market suggests. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see these two fine colts making their presences felt in Autumn’s group races.  Â
It does look to me like Ballydoyle have their best ever crop of 2 yo Colts who are completely dominating AP Classic Betting.
I don't understand why they are sending the 'C List' to the G1 Phoenix when I thought they could win every G1 in Briain and Ireland this year and will also have to divert Good Ones to French G1s to keep them apart.
City Of Troy, River Tiber, Henry Adams, Henry Longfellow and the Talking Horse who finally debuts at Curragh tomorrow who is 16/1 for the Derby before setting foot on a Racecourse; Diego Velasquez.
Joe, Warnie won at 9/2.
My pick a late NR, so I'll try:
Equiano Springs win 8.20 New nap
Dodgy East End pubs were being discused on here the other day and Blind Beggar comes in at 17/2
Tafsir won at 100/30 - might not be Goldies last winner of day..
Glory Fighter 4.10 Thirsk
NAP Warnie 7.00 Tipperary (Limerick Junction).
Simple Star Nap wins 7/2
4.10 Thirsk khabib
Simple Star 14:20 Muss Nap.
Idlico. Musselburgh 3.20.
